To promote the energy and charms of Fukushima throughout the world, dancers from all over the prefecture gathered for the "Fukushima Prefectural Official YouTube Channel: Dancer Audition"!
Who will win out of the 10 groups!?
[About the Audition]
This is part of the "Dancing Series" in which people dance at sightseeing spots around Fukushima.
An audition was held to find dancers to appear in a new movie of the popular series, which topped 350 thousand views last year for the four movies released in spring, summer, autumn and winter!
Of the 37 groups that applied, 10 groups that passed a preliminary video audition gathered at the venue (Fukushima Television) for their final audition!
Participants chose one of two themes, "The orchards of Fukushima" or "Ouchi-juku," on which their costumes, choreographies and performances were based, and danced in front of the judges.
The music was "Kanata-made" by onso9line (The Fukushima Prefecture's promotional video theme song for 2014, "Passing on Smiles Movie Contest: Smile! Smile! Fukushima").
Each group gave a performance of their interpretation of the energy and charms of Fukushima.
